Multinational Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground Italian sausage
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 lb sliced mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic with jalapenos
  • 1 small can diced green chilis
  • 1 680 ml can tomato sauce
  • 1 540 ml can diced tomatoes
  • 1 480 ml jar salsa
  • 1 540 ml can red kidney beans
  • 1 540 ml can black beans
  • 1 can mini corn, cut into 1" pieces
  • 4 Tbsp Cajun seasoning

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan saute onion, garlic, mushrooms, beef, and sausage over medium heat until meat browns.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, stir well, and simmer for an hour.

Tip

Top with grated old cheddar and either sour cream or Greek yoghurt for added zing.
