Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground Italian sausage
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 lb sliced mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic with jalapenos
- 1 small can diced green chilis
- 1 680 ml can tomato sauce
- 1 540 ml can diced tomatoes
- 1 480 ml jar salsa
- 1 540 ml can red kidney beans
- 1 540 ml can black beans
- 1 can mini corn, cut into 1" pieces
- 4 Tbsp Cajun seasoning
Directions
- In a large saucepan saute onion, garlic, mushrooms, beef, and sausage over medium heat until meat browns.
- Add remaining ingredients, stir well, and simmer for an hour.
Tip
Top with grated old cheddar and either sour cream or Greek yoghurt for added zing.
